SSL encryption (sending via the contact form must be encrypted)

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address line changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Processing of general data and information

Every time we access our website, we collect a series of general data and information that is stored anonymously in the server's log files.

When using the general data and information collected, we do not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Our goal is to use the general data and information evaluated to ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The separation of the anonymous general data and information in the server log files from all personal data provided by a data subject is guaranteed.

Contact option via the website

In accordance with legal regulations, our website contains information that enables easy electronic contact with our company and immediate communication with us. If you contact us by email or via our contact form, the personal data you provide will be saved automatically. Your details will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry or contacting you. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

Routine deletion and blocking of personal data

The information you provide and the transmission of your personal data will only be stored for a reasonable period of time for the processing purpose.

All personal data will be deleted in accordance with regulations at the latest after the statutory storage period has expired.

Google Analytics

This website uses the “Google Analytics” service, which is offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), to analyze how users use the website. The service uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your device. The information collected by cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization applies on this website. The user's IP address is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening means that your IP address is no longer linked to a person. As part of the order data agreement that the website operators have concluded with Google Inc., Google Inc. uses the information collected to create an evaluation of website usage and website activity and provides services related to Internet usage.

You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

You can also use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. The following link will take you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Alternatively, by clicking on this link you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you within this website. By clicking on the link above you will download an “opt-out cookie”. Your browser must therefore generally allow the storage of cookies. If you delete your cookies regularly, you will have to click on the link again each time you visit this website.

You can find further information on data usage by Google Inc. here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

Newsletter subscription

The website operator offers you a newsletter in which he informs you about current events and offers. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide a valid email address.

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter.

To ensure that the newsletter is sent in an understandable manner, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. In the course of this, the potential recipient can be added to a distribution list. The user then receives a confirmation email giving them the opportunity to legally confirm their registration. Only if confirmation is given will the address be actively included in the distribution list.

We use this data exclusively to send the requested information and offers.
Our newsletter is sent via “Hubspot”, a CRM system from the provider: HubSpot, Inc., Two Canal Park, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA.

The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in this information, are stored on Hubspot's servers in the USA. The service provider Hubspot uses this information to send and evaluate our newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, Hubspot says it can use this data to optimize and improve its own services, e.g. B. to technically optimize the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes to determine which countries the recipients come from. However, Hubspot does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them ourselves or to pass them on to third parties.

We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of Hubspot. Hubspot is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement “Privacy Shield” and is therefore committed to complying with EU data protection regulations. Hubspot's privacy policy can be found at  https://preferences.hubspot.com/privacy see.

In order to make the newsletter interesting, we statistically record which links were clicked. However, the analyzes are only group-related and are not used by us for individual evaluation. By registering for the newsletter, you agree to this statistical recording.

Legal basis for processing

Art. 6 I lit. a GDPR serves our company as the legal basis for processing operations in which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations that are necessary for the delivery of goods or the provision of any other service or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. b GDPR. The same applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of inquiries about our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation that requires the processing of personal data, such as to fulfill tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. c GDPR. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may be necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. This would be the case, for example, if a visitor were injured in our company and his name, age, health insurance details or other vital information would then have to be passed on to a doctor, hospital or other third party. Then the processing would be based on Art. 6 I lit. d GDPR. Ultimately, processing operations could be based on Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. Processing operations that are not covered by any of the above-mentioned legal bases are based on this legal basis if the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail. We are permitted to carry out such processing operations in particular because they have been specifically mentioned by the European legislator. In this respect, he was of the opinion that a legitimate interest could be assumed if the data subject is a customer of the controller (Recital 47 Sentence 2 GDPR).

Legitimate interests in processing pursued by the controller or a third party

If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6 I lit. f GDPR, our legitimate interest is to carry out our business activities for the benefit of the well-being of all our employees and our shareholders.

Duration for which the personal data is stored

The criterion for the duration of storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After the deadline has expired, the relevant data will be routinely deleted unless it is no longer required to fulfill the contract or initiate a contract.

Legal or contractual regulations

We would like to clarify that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g. tax regulations) or can also result from contractual provisions (e.g. information on the contractual partner). In order to conclude a contract, it may sometimes be necessary for a data subject to provide us with personal data, which must subsequently be processed by us. For example, the data subject is obliged to provide us with personal data if our company enters into a contract with them. Failure to provide the personal data would mean that the contract with the person concerned could not be concluded. Before the data subject provides personal data, the data subject must contact our data protection officer. Our data protection officer explains to the person concerned on a case-by-case basis whether the provision of the personal data is required by law or contract or is necessary for the conclusion of the contract, whether there is an obligation to provide the personal data and what consequences the non-provision of the personal data would have.

Existence of automated decision making

As a responsible company, we do not use automatic decision-making or profiling.

The processing of personal data, such as the name, address, email address or telephone number of a data subject, is always carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to Constin GmbH. By means of this data protection declaration, our company would like to inform the public about the type, scope and purpose of the personal data we collect, use and process. Furthermore, data subjects are informed about the rights to which they are entitled using this data protection declaration.

As the controller, Constin GmbH has implemented numerous technical and organizational measures to ensure the most complete protection possible for the personal data processed via this website. However, internet-based data transmissions can generally have security gaps, so that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, every data subject is free to transmit personal data to us by alternative means, for example by telephone.
